who can answer..... which one kept their job?????

lol i have no clue, did they even answer it?

They were both fired.

Oh yeah... they were both carring boxes wern't they....
***
can anybody post a pick of the red queen and her legs...
those were skinny things.... can't be too many that match that and the writers I dont believe will be bringing in a new person to fit them....

I gave this below average. The whole Clark/Lois/Blur love "triangle" annoyed me and I couldn't get into this story. The fact that Clark is so obsessed with keeping his secret but refuses to wear a mask destroys all credibility.

Nice seeing Maxwell Lord though.

Typical Clark. Let's not where a fucking mask. Douche.

No kidding... at least vibrate real fast or something, isn't that it worked in the original comics? He like vibrated so fast no one could recognize him between being superman and clark?

This is something they really need to consider. Something Clark learns to do. Its really the only way they can let him run around as the "Flash"...I mean superman without all the dang CC cameras catching him. Good thing Clark never goes to the Monticedo on "Las Vegas". They'd video IQ him in a second...

I voted Clark Kent. Pretty much a Lois and Clark shipper episode...I swear that I heard twangs of John Williams Superman theme in the scene between Lois and Clark inside the Checkmate facility. Gill Bellows pulled off an interesting and sinister Maxwell Lord. Chloe wearing a green leather jacket at the beginning of the episode was great...it looked fantastic on Ali. Told you guys the picture was nothing to get wiled up about. Three more episodes to go...and we're moving towards something BIG. I can feel it. I just hope it's not a let down like last year's finale was.

They made the \S/ more clear. They should have been doing that from the beginning instead of a chalky mess. I can't wait to see who the Red Queen is...it could be any female now. Tess, Chloe, Martha...hell Lana.

I bet the Red Queen is Tess. The legs were a dead give away. She does have red hair after all. She's the only other main character with the money and resources to go up against Checkmate. But I bet she gets her orders from Lex.

Clark Kent for me. I find this show continually frustrating. Please CW! Only order about 12 to 14 episodes next season! Make the witers focus on one thing in season 10: Making Clark Superman. This Clark, Lois relationship is dangerously turning into Clana. Clark needs to come clean to Lois, soon. It would be a great season ender if he opens his shirt to reveal his 'S' to Lois. She looks shocked at the camera, then cut to black.

I am leaning towards Senator Martha Kent as the hidden Red Queen. She knows about aliens on Earth, she raised one. She's seen Clark get possessed and go Kal-El on her or wig out on Red K. She knows about Bart, Ollie, Kara, the Cave, the Fortress. Which other Senator would have as much first hand experience with metahumans to be named as Senate Liason to Checkmate? Why else hide her face unless her identity has significance?

I agree with Dagman about the Red Queen. At first I thought it might be Tess, but then I wondered why they would keep Tess's face hidden. Her face was being hidden for a reason. Unless its Margot Kidder or Jane Seymour, Martha is the only plausible character I can think of. Plus I could see Martha infiltrating Checkmate to help Clark from the inside.

I didn't care for this episode as much I thought I would. I think they made a mistake by spending about 40 minutes on the crooked DA, when he was totally unnecessary. Lord should've been the main villain from jump. I did like the Clark-Lois stuff, but it really doesn't make a lot of sense that Clark doesn't wear a mask. As the Blur he's trying to remain hidden, unlike Superman who wants to be seen. Also, I didn't get why Clark smashed the big screen at the end to stop Lord. Why didn't he just use his heat vision to take Lord down? And why didn't he go after Lord? It seemed like Lord wasn't in a super rush when he left the building. Clark could've caught him.

I did like Lord though. Liked his rationale. Reminded me of the X-Men 2/General Stryker a little. I hope they bring him back. He would be a much better season long villain than Zod.

I believe that Bellows has one more episode in the bucket...either the one with martha and perry in it or the season finale, I can't remember which.

aren't we all lucky that when clark finally puts on that superman suit (the red and blue)...
that nobody will look above his shoulders to see what his face actually looks like...

Vibrating really fast was Jay Garrick, who never wore a mask either.

The cool thing about doing that way, they already call him the Blur!!!

I absolutely do not want to watch endless episodes about people almost discovering his identity because he never wears a mask, for christ's sake!! Can we organize a write-in campaign to make The Blur blurry?

For what it's worth, there was an interview with the producers about this season, and they said they were making Clark a douche on purpose this season, it was supposed to be dark for him, and then in the finale he smartens up a bit. TV Guide: The Finale is Clark's Redemption Hour

The Red Queen has to be someone already in the cast or we'd have seen her face. Although they could be introducing a few new female characters and we'd have to pick which one, but they'd be on that by now. But anyway I'll point out that Amanda Waller was the White Queen, without having white hair so I don't think being a red-head is a requirement.

This explanation would work a little more if it wasn't for the fact that Clark has been a douche for several seasons, not just this year.

I agree in part, but then we have everyone complaining in this thread about what an extra douche he is being this season.

Actually in the original Byrne revamp of the character Superman did blur his face so noone could get a good picture of him.
I really wont buy Martha as the Red Queen. Her personality just doesnt shout out secret organization leader. That said I have no idea who I would want to be the Red Queen.
The CW posted a full episode desrciption and it sounds like we will be disapointed again with this years ending. Way to much for a one hour episode to handle. Unless of course Lex walks out at the end.

It was pretty good, but I am getting confused with all the Checkmate stuff. So Checkmate is an organization that basically is trying to do what Lex wanted to do "Save the planet from humans who possess extraordinary powers" Within Checkmate are other players all vying for power against one another.

On top of all this we got Tess banging Zod, Chloe banging the Green Arrow Zod doing his usually dirt.

Sometimes I long for the simple days when Clark beat up the freak of the week then stared at Lana with puppy dog eyes because he was too scared to say anything to her.
