Difference between a friendship and a relationship besides sex?

When your skin comes within a fag paper of one another, you feel like you've been injected with pure electricity :D

And we love you for it :adore:
You are going to make a song of that aren't you? I love forward to the You tube debut :)

^Freud would have a field day! ;)

But it is a very, very comfortable and cuddly jumper. :D

Nobody ~ even Freud, could understand the wonderful complexities that make up our Zee. And we are pleased with that ~ because some things are just meant to be appreciated with awe rather than examined and explained :vulcan:

In my mind, a "relationship" is a friendship with the added desire for physical intimacy and all that stuff about kids and living together.

Not every relationship must result in kids. Lord knows I'm not interested in them.

I have been thinking about relationships and friendships, and the only different between the two seem to be sex. You care about each other in both, you can love each other in both, you can hold each other and hug each other. You talk openly and express yourself probably even more in friendship than you do in a relationship, at least in the beginning.

So is the only difference between the two sex?

Possibly. I can't really say other than that it comes down to personal feeling, which is ambiguous at best. I can say that regarding your question, I have had plenty of the former, and none of the latter.

Am I reading you right? You're saying you've had plenty of relationships and no friendships. If anything, I'd quite honestly think it would be the other way around.

Yeah, it is switched around. I was going by the title, which has friendship first and relationship second. Also, when I refer to "relationship", I am adding sexual intimacy into the equation to pertain directly to the questions asked by the OP.
