I.... actually like Taking the Stone.
But I got through the first 2 seasons thinking it was great, and then stalled about 2/3 through S3, it just seemed to somehow lose it's soul, around the time the blue lady left.
People consider "The Locket" one of the worst episodes? Really? That amazes me. It was one of my favorites.
After watching the entire show twice I still have no idea what's really going on in the Arnessk arc.
Most of everything that's going on, really. I'd have to rewatch it a third time, but the short veresion is the motivations of half a dozen characters make no sense at all - mostly the villains, but also Noranti. After watching the entire show twice I still have no idea what's really going on in the Arnessk arc.
What exactly don't you get?
I totally agree. In my opinion Sikozu never was a well-defined character. Often times her loyalties and decisions felt out of place. All the stuff about the resistance, her relationship with Scorpius, her actions in The Peacekeeper Wars etc. Very odd to say the least. Not to mention she was incredibly annoying with all her arrogance, even more so than Jool ever was.I don't like that they replaced Jool with Sikozu, just when I was starting to like Jool.
The only thing I really liked about Sikozu was the acting. Like Chiana, she really moved in an alien way, especially the way she looked at people.

I say The Way we Weren't, which is classic character development and emotional moment as you can get on this series.
The Locket was pretty standart stand alone episode of Season 2. Quite decent in writing/acting mostly. Drama was effective and not forced. Unfortunetely reset button at the end ruins it and makes this episode all too much "stand alone" without any after effects...I mean this could be easily "Clues" episode of Star Trek TNG and if you rip off another episode of another series so blantly it means you are in trouble in creative department.
There is only one thing that really annoys me in this episode and it's the ending. The writers push the reset button and neither John or Aeryn remember what happened between them. Frustrating!People consider "The Locket" one of the worst episodes? Really? That amazes me. It was one of my favorites, and one of maybe three that actually ripped a tear from my eyes.
I thought people consider The Locket one of the best episodes of the series. It was difinately a great episode, and one of my favorites.
