OMG, That's Awesome!

When Degra was murdered/assasinated. I truly never expected to see something as shocking on a Trek series, so while it wasn't awesome that it happened (he was a great character!), it was great for the show as a whole.

More than a moment, but the last 3 episodes of season 3 absolutely floored me.

The Xindi in general. Probably my favorite alien concept in all of Trek. I just think it was brilliant. It's just a shame that the Avians had to be extinct. I picture them being totally badass, but that's a whole 'nother topic.

I agree with most of the moments already mentioned, especially anything involving Shran. Jeffrey Combs was born to play Trek aliens, and he totally slayed that role (as he did most of his roles, although I wasn't a big fan of the alien he played in Voyager's Tsunkatse).

Those freaky aliens in Silent Enemy. It's not all that often you see non-humanoid, alien-looking aliens in Star Trek.

yeah silent enemy is one of my favorite episodes..

archers walk through the catwalk checking on his crew in catwalk.

the fight between malcom and trip on the bridge in singularity and hoshi's "carrots" in the same episode.

the organians showing up..

Reading the news about the show being cancelled.

Tell me about it.

There are many such points for me... but the earliest I can recall is during Broken Bow when they used the TOS communicator sound effect.

The entire two parts of In a Mirror Darkly. So glad they got those episodes in before cancellation. Even reading about the rumor of a possibility that they were doing MU ENT episodes months before spoilers came out was a OMG That's Awesome moment for me!

Word.

As you can see by my avatar and sig, it was obviously the Intrepid getting her nacelle shot off in "Twilight." But seriously, a big OMG for me was the whole concept of the MACOs. SEAL teams on starfleet ships? OMG that's awesome! Also, all of IAMD 1 and 2, Brent Spiner guest staring, and Hoshi actually having to learn and translate alien languages (often on the fly).

Lot's of good moments mentioned. Gonna add my fave (from IaMD): the Defiant powering up and breaking loose from the Tholian spacedock.

The Mirror Universe episodes was the only thing that truly rocked, IMO.

However, I did like...

1. The direction they went in Season 3 and enjoyed the bulk of that season. Not sure if it was awesome, but it was really entertaining.

2. The explanation for the Klingons.

3. The Portho's episode.

Side Note:

Also, although it has it's flaws, I think Enterprise's pilot episode is the most re-watchable Trek pilot out of all five of the series.

Granted, there are a lot of things that disturb me about it. However, it was really entertaining, though.

Season 4, once they got out of the TCW stuff in the first two eps rocked...IaMD rocked AND rolled!

Season 4 was what Enterprise always should have been, if the PTB hadn't given the Killer B's yet another show to frak up...

Adding another Awesome moment: Archer's "Final Frontier" speech in the series finale.

Seeing the Gorn

Seeing the Andorians.

Seeing the Tellarites.

Seeing the Tholians

RAMA

Dang. You guys are really bringing up some good ones here.

Sometimes I forget all the little cool tidbits that Enterprise brought to the table.

:techman:

Seeing the Gorn and seeing the Tholean. Two more aliens done right. No wonder the show was so expensive to make.

Klingon foreheads! Can't believe I forgot that. I'd become resigned to Enterprise pretending Klingons had bumpy heads all along, and when the ship was invaded by human-fusion Klingons (that's what old novels called them, the bumpy ones were "Imperial Klingons") I was in shock and on my feet staring at the screen slack-jawed.

...then they did that impossibly stupid bit where Trip does a warp-5 spacewalk between Enterprise and Columbia. Even something as stupid and unbelivable as that couldn't ruin it.

A 30-year-old question finally answered!

^^ Didn't think that question needed answering... but yes it was very cool just the same.

Geez, you are a bunch of sensitive people, aren't you?

We are the worst kind of people.
The kind that enjoyed a television show.

I thought most of the series was awesome because it attempted to reconcile the differences between TOS and everything that came after it in a somewhat logical manner.

The Forge
Twilight
Way the Andorians were introduced in Andorian Incident
Archer's death in IAMD
Phaser maneuver in the western in season 3
