Best TNG Episodes

Out of the episodes mentions (as well as the entire series), what episode is the best. And I mean the best, not just your favorite.

I gotta go with Sub Rosa on this one, Crusher was soooo hot in it.

I rarely ever feel that my favourite episode of a series is also the best, but in the case of TNG, I do consider "The Best of Both Worlds" both. In my opinion, it's more cinematic and just plain better in every conceivable way than every other "Star Trek" movie except "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" and "Star Trek: First Contact" and better than a lot of other non-Star Trek movies too.

I think I'll start making my standard answer to this question Yesterdays Enterprise. Not at all an original answer, but that episode did blow me away more than any other.

Well Shran is one of my all-time Trek characters, so I'd be happy with that choice.

I think Best of Both Worlds is perhaps the best, but there are other contenders, IMO:

- Q Who
- Sarek
- The Wounded
- Darmok
- Gambit
- Birthright parts 1 and 2
- The Defector
- Sins of the Father
- Chain of Command parts 1 and 2
- Tapestry

these are the ones that stand out to me.

Well, Shran is one of my favorites as well, that's why I chose the name. Korgano would have been cool though, oh well.

All Good Things is probably my favorite. It's the perfect send off to the series. It's a conclusion that doesn't feel the need to be an "Ending." It's almost purely cinematic, and grand in scope. While I'll probably think back to episodes I like better, this is the one that I think of whenever I think of the series.
