AICN has a report on comic-con, which covers Evans' new novie, The Losers. It's perhaps worth a look to see the size of Chris' biceps in the pic of him, that can be seen if you scroll down. Looks like he's getting Cap Shaped.

I think TPTB are, for the most part, handling the Marvel charactes quite well. If Captain America is even half as good as Iron Man, it will be an entertaining movie.
Haven't seen McPartlin in action, but his looks seem tailor-made to play Captain America. Since the director is ignoring a lot of the '60s and '70s Cap stuff, that means no Falcon (LOL!). Certainly, forgetting about retconning other Caps into his story makes a lot of sense for a movie, just as it made sense to do so in the comics to explain Cap's appearances after WWII and in the '50s.
I do hope when he next appears in Avengers, that they delve into the Rip Van Winkle, man-out-of-time aspects of his character. One of my favorite things they established in the '80s Cap comics is that his taste in music is, as his then-gf Bernie Rosenthal noted, just like her father's (Glenn Miller, other big-band folks). I always thought that was fun.

Well... when you play a comic character twice... I think its time to take a little trip to a local comic store... so its not shocking that as an adult he's gotten into comics.
Be kinda cool if there is a shop he frequents and people go "Well well well... if it isn't Captain America himself. Cash only bub."

^ Not sure if it was that or just his unerring knack for turning down good scripts (he also turned down Syriana, IIRC) and accepting totally shit ones (too many to mention).

Yeah, it'd be nice to see Sebastian get a non-villainous role.
Frankly, I think this movie should have two villains: Red Skull and Baron Zemo. Then when Cap is dethawed in the modern day the Zemo there can be the middle-aged son of the Zemo from WWII (instead of the same Zemo), and the current Zemo (the son of the original) can be the WWII Zemo's grandson instead of son.
Red Skull (if they use him again) can be explained as having been frozen as well.

So is the Alice talk more like Krasiniski, which didn't pan out or Chris Evans which did? Guess we'll know soon enough.
Alice Eve reemerges as a lead to play Sharon Carter. Apparently its a two person decison with Hayley Atwell being the other main contender with Emily Blunt and Keira Knightly both bowing out.
