Ashes to Ashes Series 3 (may contain Spoilers)

Capn Flukie

Looking forward to seeing 'Bolly Knickers' and The Guv again.

The official Ashes to Ashes Facebook group has a full minute preview of the premiere, if you've seen the finale of series 2, it is definitely spoilerly. Chaz looks great too. :D Looked for a link on youtube, but it's not there yet.

It airs April 12th, at 9pm, on BBC1, I'll have to wait until it's available 'elsewhere'.

Who else is looking forward to it?

My TV guide says 2nd of April 9pm.
They have put the new series of have i got news for you on Thursday at 9.30 to make room for it.

Does anyone know where I can watch the last two episodes of the second series (legally and free)? I managed to miss them and I don't really want to start the next series without them. Failing that, can anyone fill me in on what happened in them?

What did we think then? I can't find a discussion anywhere.

If it's okay to go spoilerish I have a few things to say.

Then proceed!

I thought it was OK - glad that the shift back to the 80's was done quickly, but - as usual - I've not a clue as to what the big picture is!

I thought it was not as good a start as S2 had a finish. They copped out on the whole waking up in 2010 thing big time, I was expecting at least some small commitment to this course of events, but they had hit the reset button within minutes.

Also surprised (not really) by the repetition of the "mysterious stranger who may know more than he lets on" type character, it's a shame, it was starting to feel like it's own show and now it feels like LoM redux.

Still, the arcing plot concerns me the least about the whole show really. As long as they get back to some good storylines and character development, the strength of which really helped the show hit its stride in S2, I'm not so bothered by it.

I'm a bit uneasy about where the team is going but the two principals are working well. I like the Sneaky Stranger who knows too much and I also like that Gene is being cast in a darker role. It should get into its stride now and have some good stories to tell.

I think it's a shame after the headfuck set up at the end of last series they reset it within minutes of starting the new series. I hope there's more going on here than there was with Frank Morgan, but the set up so far has been interesting.

I was hoping the reset wouldn't be done so quickly, but can't say It hurt the episode. I certainly wanted to get back to the 80's and Hunt anyway , as that's the point of the show when it comes down to it.

This was a good first episode, if a bit by the numbers. I suspect things will heat up soon, just as they did in series 2. This was set up for what is to come.

Where is there a good link to a synopsis of the story so far? (I don't get BBC America so there's no way for me to see this show. :( )

I could not stop laughing at the opening:eek::lol:
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when they rehearse and filmed that scene there was a twinkle in the actors eyes that showed they where having a lot of fun.
