I just watched the season 2 finale. This show is now one of my favorite tv shows of all time. Canadian tv rocks.

Please tell me this show is getting a third season.

*does a quick google search*

Before we dive in, we have to know right off the bat -- is "Being Erica" getting a third season?
Erin Karpluk:
It's looking hopefully optimistic. I do know they're working on it, but we haven't been given the official thumbs up. So for now, it's fingers crossed, and I think we'll find out shortly.

This show looks really good. I haven't seen any full episodes as of yet. I really want to get it on DVD.

Season one is available on region 1 DVDs (USA region) in Canada. You can either get it from amazon.com marketplace sellers or direct from amazon.ca

I know there's a thread on the show in TV/MEDIA and I've been intrigued by the premise since I saw the earlier promos for it on TV. I'll be checking it out on DVD myself.

Since this is the youngest of the three "Being Erica" threads, I post in here.

According to this source, Being Erica is getting a third season. So, any guy cards still out there?

Also this source writes, that it gets a British version.

Even though it's a strange little series, it's especially still worth watching and has more engaging characters than Flash Forward or V or Bones or many other "Big TV" series out there.

^ Excellent news. It's a fantastic, quirky little show, with really well-realized characters. :)

Thanks for the great news about the third season renewal. The British remake is a bit of a WTF piece of news, though. :wtf:

I got hooked on this show the last few months, bought the first season on DVD and watched what I could of the second season where it's aired here in the us. [small voice]on Soap Net[/smallvoice].

Glad to hear that it's getting a well-deserved third season and I can't wait until the S2 DVD is available.

And Erin Karpluk is my new TV love.

Glad to see things look hopeful for Season 3. I really like the show as well, and Karpluk is indeed a sweetheart.
