Some good news for a change

Sometimes something inexplicable happens and you can only smile.. For the last couple years before leaving the profession I took photos of a high school girl who was paralyzed from the thighs down but became the #2 ranked USTA Junior wheelchair tennis player in the US (#7 in the world). She was just a study in bravery and optimism.

Well I just received word that she has regained full use of her legs as is walking unaided. No one knows why or how, but it couldn't happen to nicer girl.

Wow  Good for her. I bet she's running like Forrest Gump. Hell, I sure would.

No, it's horrible news. Her tennis career is over, and instead of being a star wheelchair athlete she's just a girl with toothpick legs, so now instead of being a sympathetic character she just looks like she's riding a chicken. :(

Man... some of you seem kinda jaded. This is really good news. Too often we hear (or just know about) something good happening to the least deserving of people (like Tiger Woods winning another gabillion dollars from some golf championship) and it makes me feel... well, no one likes to look into the face of the fact that the world is an unfair place, you know?

Stories like this have the exact opposite effect. :) Thanks for the link.

Come on. This isn't such a great news story. She was only paralyzed in her lower legs, meaning she could still have endless hot teen orgasms while beating the snot out of badly paralyzed girls at tennis. So one morning she wakes up and feels her toes, with no clear memory of what happened during the night. Can you say "A Go'uld visitor from a stealthed Al'kesh implanted a symbiote?" It's soooo obvious!

So now this implanted teen is not only going to lure young men to their doom, she's going to do it with high-profile press coverage. This story has evil and sadness written all over it, if you'll just free your mind of burdens like logic and reason.

Wow talk about a cloud to every silver lining Gturner.
Let me guess there's also a mugged leprechaun at the end of every rainbow
