Don't keep me from my men. :klingon:

Don't challenge me PetaQ ~ dawn tomorrow and bring your Bat'leth :klingon:

Thank you, K'Ehleyr. You're sweet. :D

Axiom, thank you, but don't say that ~ I'm s'pose to be half klingon

Oh.
In that case, Thank you, K'Ehleyr, I find your actions honorable. :D

maj :klingon:

(good);)

I'm surprised by the results as well. BUT, there are an awful lot of registered users who haven't voted, so there could be many more females than what's represented in the poll. I think a few of them probably don't even venture into the Misc forum.

Given the company here, that's pretty understandable. ;)

[JOKE.]

Heh, I'm trying to remember that old saying, "I wouldn't belong to a club that has me as a member!" (or something like that!)

"I would not join any club that would have someone like me for a member" Groucho Marx

I find the pedant in me to be large tonight!

Straight male. I guess. Although asexual is probably more accurate at this point. I probably would have picked that if it were an option.

Female, currently facing due east.

The important question now is how we can abuse these statistics to start fights in TNZ ;)

Gay male here. I have had some experience with women, and I've also flipped my share of straight dudes. While I never intentionally go for the flip (it has just happened with several friends in college and high school), I would rather hook up and deal with straight/curious men than the vast majority of guys who call themselves bisexual. No offense to the bi dudes on this forum, but lots of men misuse and abuse this label.

Because labels are stupid. There is no way to misuse a label if they are all wrong to begin with.

(edited: I don't know how to delete posts. Apologies for the double-post. I'm not used to forums like this yet.)

So all bi men are rotten because you've had some bad experiences? Frankly, I find that sort of sweeping statement as silly as the homophobe that once tried to tell me all gay guys were manipulative, lying, dogs, because he'd had a bad experience with one he worked with.

Everyone is different. You can't make assumptions about an entire group of people based on a minority.

Where did I say "all" or "entire" or make a sweeping statement? I said that I personally would not want to deal with many men who call themselves bisexual, because in my personal opinion there is a cultural misuse of this label in many circumstances; I am more than happy to "deal" with men who are confidently and openly bisexual. This is merely my opinion and has little to do with men who legitimately are bisexual (and thus legitimately happier and more secure), as I was more referring, tongue-in-cheek, to men who often misrepresent the lifestyle of true bisexuality and use it as a stopgap against the gay label. How this leads to a sweeping generalization that "all bi men are rotten" I haven't the slightest. I thoroughly apologize if you took offense to my post when none was meant; I was trying to express my personal preference in perhaps too curt and dry a style.

Fair point, if I misread your intent I heartily apologise. Having seen biphobic attitudes from both the heterosexual and homosexual communities tends to make one a bit trigger happy.

Having said that I don't think your experience is particularly representative of the bisexual community. That sort of behaviour isn't really related to orientation, IMO, so much as it is to personality.
