Say Something Positive About Your Least Favorite Character ...

A good bad influence

We did that once in the Voyager forum, which triggered some interesting answers. So here's the Enterprise version ...

Say something positive about your least favorite character ...
... and something negative about your favorite character.

My least favorite character from Enterprise would be Travis. I don't exactly hate the guy, but acting-wise Anthony Montgomery delivered a rather wooden performance most of the time. I did, however, love his backstory as a Boomer and have a soft spot for Horizon and his subplot in Demons/Terra Prime. He always seemed so easy to impress and had a certain naïvety to him that was wonderful.

My favorite character from Enterprise is definitely Trip. What I hated about him (besides his odd behaviour in These Are The Voyages ... ;)) was his decision to leave the Enterprise because of his unrequited feelings for T'Pol. To me, that just came across as unprofessional.

So, what about you?

Travis, my least favorite character, is actually pretty good looking. And this coming from a straight guy.

Trip, my favorite character by far, was an idiot for never confronting T'Pol "John Crichton" style.

Hmmmm.... I take it we're limited to the 7 "main" characters.

OK. My least favorite character is T'Pol. I know in some quarters on this board this is sacrilege, but it's true.

As for something positive, I loved it when she told Archer off in ANIS and I only wish it had happened more often.

I don't think I have to state the obvious: I didn't like that he put up with T'Pol's crap as long as he did.

Travis is my least favorite, as he just didn't do very much. I'd like to imagine that if we had gotten the 3 additional seasons that he would have been developed considerably more. I guess the good thing I'll say is that he was reliable and loyal.

I guess the negative thing I'll say about Trip, as Connor pretty much said in the DVD extras, is that early on he was bit too much of a "good old boy". I'm a southern boy, so I can relate, but he was a bit too "hickish" to be taken seriously sometimes.

My least favorite character is T'Pol.

My Positive statement: She looked real good in a Cat Suit.

I thought her season 3 catsuits were at least not fugly.
In season 4 she should have been in the same uniforms as the rest of the crew.

Least favorite: Archer - Something good: The actor was better than the writing.

Favorite: Trip - Something bad: He needed more sincere scenes and less running around with a shirt. (Take that, you T'Pol hater. :p )

Least favorite - Mayweather - He knew how to shut up and take orders.

Favorite - Archer - He was wrong in Cogenitor.

Least favorite: Mayweather (not that I don't like him; it's just that he's ranked #7). He was an awesome pilot. And had an insane body.

Mmmm, Travis - shirtless.

Oh, was there another part to the question?

Favorite: Archer. He was wrong to withhold the cure in Dear Doctor.

Trip + less running around with a shirt = Good Stuff.
I thought you were supposed to say something negative!

Most disliked: Trip - He knocked out Kelby. :)

Most liked: Reed - Does like to have a whinge about trivial things now and then.

Trip....

What can I say about Trip?

Ah....!

He was funny and interesting when he was pregnant in Unexpected....

T'Pol got much better in the way she was portrayed in ADDITION to her costumes and makeup as the show progressed. Early on I couldn't STAND her or Blalock. Hell, many if not most of my early BBS posts from the first year or so I was on the boards were critical of Blalock. But I ended up liking her a lot more by the fourth and final season.
