Fillion looks like he just stepped out of a centrifuge machine.
I have to admit, that was a good 2 hours of television, I love this show, glad it got renewed for a 3rd season! I remember watching the first episode while my dad was dying in his hospital bed, and he enjoyed it. I'm glad to see that the show has remained pretty good, even if some of its kinda typical, but I just love the whole Castle/Beckett dynamic. Plus, his daughter is just too cool. I love how they haven't tried to make Alexis "edgy" or "angsty" or overly snarky. She's a good kid, seems very sweet, intelligent and has the right amount of humor and one liners and quips that still shows she's of the same stock as her father, but more... restrained. She's not your typical Disney Channel bred little starlet that really can't act, just looks pretty and is usually very over the top or squinty, pouty or scowly - I'm lookin' at you Miley Cyrus!
If more young actresses were like her, the world would be a better places. Hell I'd hope if I ever had a daughter someday, I'd want her to end up like Alexis!
Although I hope to dear GOD that I never end up with a mother in law like Castle's mom... I mean she seems nice in her own way, but whoa she's nutty sometimes LOL But it works for her
Y'know I really hope they keep the Castle/Beckett relationship from getting too serious too quickly, just enough flirting, just enough give and take... I like that even though Beckett won't miss an opportunity to rib Castle, I think she genuinely likes him as a kooky and good hearted friend... she just won't admit it.

I really liked this two-parter. I liked this show back in season 1...but season 2 is really bumping it up a notch.
I was kinda disappointed actually, I thought part 1 was much better. Part 2 seemed a little too cliche for me but, really, I guess the whole show is much like most crime dramas in that respect. Still, I'm really enjoying this season and I was glad to hear about it being signed for a third season.
