Howdy TrekBBSers. Our next contest is United, the 2nd part of the fantastic Andorian trilogy.

Our theme is hand to hand combat. There's plenty of that to go around in Enterprise. Real hand to hand combat, weapons, knifes, bat'lehs, box cutters and Archer's iron fists.

This should be a challenge... ENT has no shortage of fight scenes but the cinematography is notoriously wobbly.

That catfight's a strong entry too. How did you do it, od0 ital? That scene is so motion blurry, yet you managed to score a decent still cap. Nice work.

What photo editing software do you use? I use Photoshop and the filter, "Unsharp Mask," is a huge favorite of mine in cleaning up screencaps.

I've been forced to use trekcore.com for a couple of years, ever since my DVD program with the screencapping capability vanished from my crappy computer (thanks a lot for Windows Vista, Bill! ).

I so miss not being able to make animated "movie" avs!

Yeah, Unsharp Mask does wonders. I also sometimes mess with the color and contrast ratios to make things 'pop' a bit more, when needed. Anyhoo...
