SGU DVD News

The Wormhole

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Gateworld is reporting that season 1.5 of SGU is going to be on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 15. And there are also plans to release the entire season in one box set 2011.

Read the report here.

Disappointing that there will be a complete set, as I just bought the blu-ray last week! Oh well. It was only $20, and unless there's going to be something exclusive on the complete set, I'll just be happy with that.

Oh, come on. They always do that. Broken up season for people who can't wait, and then the complete season a little later.

Actually, BSG never did that.

They're doing it now with the blu-ray releases - Season 2 was complete, and the new release of the complete series also has Season 4 in one box. The only other show I've heard that released a half-set and then announced a full set is ABC's "Flashforward".

They also released Avatar: The Last Airbender in quarter season releases before releasing the full season set.

Glee did the same thing. But when they announced 1.0, they also announced that the full season box set would be released on the same day as 1.5, so there weren't any surprises.

To be fair, this full season set possibility was just announced...and the 1.0 didn't come out that long ago, right? Not even a month I'd say.
