When will networks learn that serial shows suffer from long breaks, ABC should of planned the season better starting the show later in the fall to lower the break and brought it back with Lost after its 2 episode 6th season opener...FF/LOST/V would make a killing lineup. Expect V to suffer due to the break as well.

FlashForward was pretty dead before the break. It will be interesting to see how bad... I mean how V does after LOST.

V just needs to come out swinging. It's a show about a bunch of creepy eeeevil aliens who are also sexxxy who are trying to take over the planet. A group of humans, some of whom are also sexxxy, are doing the guerilla-resistance thing. Guns, explosions, and big ass spaceships are involved. Skin is occasionally peeled off freaky lizard faces in gross and gooey ways. There has been at least the hint of freaky-ass alien sex and with a 10pm timeslot, they can do a lot more than hint.

Anyone who cannot hang onto a decent percentage of the Lost audience with all that stuff to work with seriously needs to get out of the TV biz.

I turn off the TV and discuss Lost after Lost, normally. It's going to be going up again L&O: CI on USA in a couple of weeks... I think it'll have some competition from that.

Yeah everything on ABC after LOST is killed because the LOST freaks all go online and talk about what they just saw.

I am a LOST freak to, but not that bad.

Is NBCs Who do you think you are like the BBC show where famous people trace their family tree?

What an incredibly boring topic. Why should it matter that they are "famous" people? Instead, the producers should find people with the most interesting ancestors, but they could be anyone. Could be your neighbor. Sure, Lisa Kudrow's family has a dramatic story because they were Jews during WWII. But that has nothing to do with their descendant being on some sitcom. There must be millions of Americans whose family story is just as dramatic, or more so.

Every series on the UK version we have one Jewish and one black family without fail:lol:

Are they the only people in the UK with any interesting ancestors? :rommie:

Heck, my own family has interesting ancestors. In America, that should be easy, given the number of refugees alone. All those people will have dramatic, scary, exciting stories, and there's a guaranteed happy ending because they survived and got to safety vs all those people who had similarly dramatic, scary, exciting stories who ended up too dead to have descendants.

And that's just refugees. What about all the people who came to America one step ahead of the law? Or because they were aggressive and ambitious and wanted to make a fortune? Those are also characters who lend themselves well to a story. Which is why it's so goofy to focus just on celebrities. Just pick someone randomly on the street.
