ABC better move The Middle to 9:30 next year, it's being wasted on not having a lead in show.

I keep reading that in this thread every week, but I don't really see it working. The Middle is much more of a family show and thus 8:30 suits it better. I think it would get lost being on later. Meanwhile Cougar Town is too adult-oriented to really be appropriate for 8:30 and I think it would bleed even more viewers than it has been then too.

I do agree The Middle (which is possibly still my favourite new show of the season) needs a solid lead in though. But the spot's been totally bungled since they canceled Hank and never replaced it with anything. Gah.

That's very true, but I'm in favor of canceling Cougar Town so...

It really needs a lead in for next year. I'm just really happy that it's getting another season and that Betty White will guest star on the season finale!

ABC do really need to overturn there early call to pick up Cougar Town and cancel it or try a new slot for the show over 13 episodes. The Middle would work well with Modern Family and maybe Modern Family could move to 8pm but anyway expect all 3 to return and stay in there slots.

The old kings n queens are beginning to show there age with CSI Miami being joined by CSI NY in a drop in viewers/demo. Greys joins the other decaying ABC shows like Desperate Housewives and Brothers n Sisters in that list. ABC are coming to a NBC type crossroads from several years ago with many of there stale shows coming to the end of there lives (add Lost to the list). The question is will ABC fair better than NBC did ?

I think its fair to say FOX would be crazy to pick up Human Target for a 2nd season and I heard a great idea that CBS may be considering...Moving CSI to 10pm next season with The Mentalist moving to 9pm and I agree that might be a smart idea.

The CW sucks...when a new meant to be hip show has lower numbers than repeats(sf/f shows)...they need to rethink who they really want as an audience.

ANTM...I don't even care anymore...they have maybe 3 cute girls then the rest are scary.

Modern Family is not an 8pm show. I think The Middle and Modern Family should stay where they are and have better lead in and a lead out. Samantha Who would be a great fit... oh yeah the assholes canceled that.

Would be awesoem to have Samantha Who, then The Middle, then, Modern Family, then New Show, then Boston Legal.

hehe

I got in Boston Legal, it would fit too!
