Ever since I rewatched that movie, something is bugging me about the Nexus. When Picard and Kirk went back in time(while in the nexux) to stop that guy(can't remember name) wouldn't of that been in the Nexus and not real. How did they manage to change the timeline. Did I miss something.

The accepted reason is they "choose" to leave so they did, I've always found it to be one more huge problem with the movie, IMO they are both still in the Nexus and Treks 8-10, are Nexus fantasy :D

So the real enterpise crew is dead, and that whole system went kabloom,

they should make a show about that :guffaw:

I like that theory. It means the other crappy movies didn't happen.
Exactly, and since Janeway shows up in Nemesis you can write that whole series off as well, DS9 survives as it was going before the Nexus and it also explains Worf just popping up everywhere.

;)

It is explained in the movie that they can leave the nexus whenever they want and go to any time any where.

Yeah that was Kronos first post about, I don't like that,

That's called poor writing, it's as if the Writers were like "They're in the Nexus, and the Enterprise crew is dead, Now what? That's go ask the monkey"
