This is more action / adventure than sci-fi anyhow, so over to TVM it goes. And you really ought to put more in your thread started than the text of an article and the link.

Yet more evidence that there's really no excuse for them not to put out something like Holmes & Yo-Yo to DVD.

Actually I see it as a good sign that we might see the release of some of the other shows from around the same era as Street Hawk, like Masquerade and Otherworld, and maybe Blue Thunder, too (I think Airwolf already came out, though).

Street Hawk isn't on my "to get list" but its release is still a good sign other obscure series (and no offence but Street Hawk is no Knight Rider) might also see DVD issue.

I downloaded this on a nostalgia trip a few years back. It's a load of shit.

Hell, I thought that when it came out.

yeah but there was some damn good music to it :) Don't think Tangerine Dream was ever able to release a soundtrack disc due to rights but they cheated with the main title - renamed it and released it on Le Parc :)

For a trek connection, the bad guy in the first episode was played by Robert Beltran.

and to play star trek six degrees it starred Joe Ragabutto who went on to Murphy Brown which had Scott Backula on for a stint in the later series.

And hey if was better the Blue Thunder. Beats me how they turned the movie in to such a shithouse tv series.
