Right now.. still not a whole lot happening but we seem to be moving in on the whatever being used by whomever to further some agenda. Remarkably, the new guy didn't get killed even though it was written all over his face that he would be. And, apparently, no one has noticed Starbuck and Donny Crane having been gone from CTU for the last couple of hours. Well, I'm sure that their killing of people and covering up the crime-scene and disposing of the bodies will be the end of that. Certainly nothing more can happen from that! Nope. No way! I'm former federal agent Jack Bauer and today is the most oblivious day of my life.


The following takes place between 2:00AM and 3:00AM.

You know, I hate to admit it, but the recent review of this 'day' in TV Guide sort of reflects my feelings as well... Sad to say, this outing of Jack's adventures isn't grabbing me the way it used to.

I hope things pick up here. TV's best roller-coaster ride just ain't as thrilling as times past.

Yeah, this day has been going slow and needs to pick-up, badly. This season started off promising but it's been going down-hill.
 
I don't even think this season started off that well. It just feels like 24 is tired and just "going through the motions." Nothing is really challenging anyone, and there haven't been a "wow" moment.

Also, I guess Fox isn't doing a 2 hour night this season? That kinda sucks.
 
I don't see why it should be struggling or "going through the motions" when last season was so strong. This season has potential (had) but it's not using it. It's been plodding along, it seems, slowly building things up but were's now almost 12 hours into this day and nothing has really happened and we've spent it seems like a lot more time than necessairy on the B (C?) plot of the stupid stuff with Starbuck.
 
TV Guide recently mentioned that Annie Wersching was pregnant. Congratualtions to her. :)

I would think that would limit what she could do for the final episodes.
 
I'm not so sure. Remember they recently had to suspend shooting because Kiefer hurt himself and they said they picked up shooting again on March 1st.
 
Trekker, I don't have a link per se, the article I'm referring to is on Page 21 of the current issue (Ellen Degenerate on the cover). It's the Roush Review. Basically, he says he's always been a big 24 fan, but that this year he doesn't feel as compelled to stay with it.

I don't know, the plot seems to be plodding. It sure isn't the firecracker last season was.
 
You're telling me there's no way to control the chamber from outside of it? That strikes me as a bad design.
 
They dumped the body within a couple minute's drive of CTU.

That doesn't strike me as smart but, whatever.
