Great News for Angie Harmon fans

During the Oscars yesterday I wondered what my favourite actress was doing at the moment and imagine my surprise when IMDB throws up the information that she's doing at least 2 television movies or the pilot and season premiere based on Tess Gerritsen's bestselling Rizzoli-Isles series of novels.

Angie Harmon (Women's Murder Club, Law and Order) will play Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander (NCIS, Dawson's Creek) plays her pathologist friend Maura Isles.

I'm looking forward to these.
 
I really enjoyed Women's Murder Club and was bummed it was cancelled. Harmon is smoking hot and a very talented actress to boot.
 
I'm still gathering evidence that Ali McGraw and Angie Harmon are the same person, having taking some anti-aging treatment.

BTW, have we ever see John Malkovich and Peter Sarsgaard together? :shifty:

That is good news. I've enjoyed Gerritsen's novels.
 
Speaking *as* an Angie Harmon fan, the only great news in this regard would be that she's RETURNING to Law & Order. Oh, if only she was... :sigh:

Angie on TV is good news, believe me. The character she plays in "Rizzoli" makes her previous characters look like lap cats.

Anyway, she's smoking hot and my wife likes her too, so we can both drool over her in a new TV show. So is Sasha Alexander.
 
Very cool to hear. While catching up on "Chuck" I saw her appearance and that was fantastic. Harmon and Strahovski in the same ep - it was like the "Chuck" directors read my mind. :)
