It's funny. You can tour the official Coca-Cola Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, but, despite several floors of exhibits, covering the entire glorious history of Coke, the one word you will NEVER find anywhere on the premises is "cocaine."

Pocket TOS/Pike novel, The Children of Kings, by Dave Stern is presumably the May novel, arriving from late April.

The four Abramsverse novels were supposed to be June to September, but they were pulled so late in the process that it apparently wasn't feasible to fill all four months with replacement books.

There have been several months this year already with two titles, so it'll all work out even in the end. Would you have preferred one of those to be held over in warehouses until June?
I was thinking a reprint of something would be better then nothing. But since I'm not the one making the decisions, it's not going to happen.
Another thought occurred today: Pocket had some concerted efforts, over recent years, at reprinting high-profile ST stories - and many of them had disappointing sales. The "Signature Edition" (two-in-one trades) stopped at seven volumes, over two years, with Marco saying there'd be no more. The four TOS anniversary MMPB "classic reprints" ("Entropy", "Strangers", "Federation", "Vulcan's Glory") with new cover art had lower-than-hoped sales, as did two chunky DS9 Relaunch omnibuses.
Hamilton is a big name now, and many Hamilton fantasy fans probably missed her ST:TNG title the first time around.
Who else is high calibre enough for a last-minute reprint, with a much-sought-after ST novel under their belt. There's Greg Bear, but how memorable was "Corona"? I read it when it first came out, when I only knew Bear from fan artwork in the "ST Concordance"!
I found it at least as memorable as Nightshade. However, it was a pretty short book, maybe too short for the current MMPB market.
Yeah, I was gonna add that. I remember being shocked with the new reprint versions of "Strangers from the Sky" and "Federation", looking rather like regular standard MMPBs of the day!
