I really enjoyed Parenthood. I hope it doesn't have much of a fall off or somehow even gains viewers. The more Lauren Graham on my tv the better. :>))

Heres the info I dug up about Leno's 2nd night...

The second night of Jay Leno’s Tonight Show dominated late night again with a 4.6 household rating/12 share in early household metered markets data. Letterman’s The Late Show 3.1 rating/8 share. ABC’s Nightline had a 3.0 rating /7 share and Jimmy Kimmel Live trailed with a 1.7 rating /5 share.

Palin was on it so am not surprised but I stil say give it time Jay.

Here is data on the return of Southland the ex NBC drama...

The first new episode of Southland on TNT — the season two premiere, returned to 2.5 million viewers, and 1.3 million adults 18-49, a 1.0 rating in that demographic

Expect it to be canned if thats the trend for season 2.

Depends on the cable network and TNT would consider those ratings modest at best.

I haven't seen Parenthood, but those numbers are great for NBC, more so very little drop from the lead in.

While the last 30 mins dropped n viewers the demo stayed the same so good news for NBC indeed but we will see how long it lasts.

I tuned into Parenthood (via Hulu) strictly because of the amazing Lauren Graham. I have fond memories of the original movie from which the premise was borrowed, but I wouldn't have tuned in to see this if Maura Tierney had stayed on board. It was a decent debut - not terrible but not great. I'll check it out next week and see if it's a keeper.
