September 2010 is a waste

Ah, but Laurel K. Hamilton is a hugely bestselling author these days. I'm surprised Pocket hasn't reprinted this before.

Laurell K. Hamilton is one of the most popular authors on the planet right now. Reprinting that book is akin to printing money. As Greg said, the surprise is that they haven't done it sooner.

But it's not remotely a waste...

What waste? To those of us who already own a copy, it's a chance to keep a little more disposable income for a month and put that to other use. I've got no complaints.

Too bad Stephenie Meyer never wrote a Trek novel:

"I know what you are."

"Say it."

"You're skin has a greenish tint, your ears are pointed, and we haven't made out for seven years."

"Say the word."

"You're . . . a Vulcan."

Oh, you're so going to go to hell for that. :p

Never heard of her...

Laurel Hamilton writes the "Anita Blake" novels. An incredibly successful vampire series.

(Strange but true: I actually wrote the cover copy for the first few books in the series. It's a small world . . . .)

What are you referencing? What ever it is, it doesn't sound too good.

And if that is what the books are really written like, I think I'll stick to the Southern Vampire Mysteries, thank you very much.

To be fair, I have no idea if that exchange was in the book. I was just riffing on the movie trailer . . . .

^ It was as though thousands of Star Trek readers suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced.

^The ultimate crossover. Star Trek: Intrepid, by Greg Cox channelling Stephenie Meyer (or would he have to be Grag Cox?)
