Order of Operations on a BLT....

I've come to the conclusion that the best way is from bottom to top, bread-miracle whip-tomato-bacon-lettuce-miracle whip-bread.
 
Bread or toast, lettuce, tomato, bacon, mayo and bread or toast.
 
I favor the gturner technique - of all the possible combinations, it's the most civilized. I like a thick, sloppy blt, though - internal organs must slop down on the plate or it just isn't made right :)

This is how I make a BLT with one exception - I coat the toast with mustard. So it's toast, mustard, bacon, lettuce, bacon, tomato, bacon, mustard, toast.

Mayonnaise is sacrilege.
 
and bacon is pork which goes well with mustard. hubs just very casually said - yeah - I put it on blts all the time. 23 years and I never noticed . . .
