Not exactly. In season 5, General Zod chose Lex as a vessel and then possesed him and then there was this dagger that was supposed to use on him to kill him, but it would kill Lex in the process. Clark then gets banished to the Phantom Zone and then Lana kisses fake Lex. In the first few episodes of season 6, Clark escapes PZ, defeats Zod and Lex is back to normal .

Essentially I was referring to Rosenbaum's short stint as Zod compared to Callum's current Zod

He wasn't correcting you. As I read it, his "Not exactly" was in response to RobertScorpio's post, the same as yours was, but you got your post in before he did. His post was only eleven minutes after yours, and right after that he posted that you'd beaten him to it because he was too slow.
