The story

A man walked into a police station in southern Sweden last week to complain about the quality of the hash that he had been sold, asking for a lump to be tested for traces of LSD.

So this guy -a frequent user by his own account- believes he has been dosed and goes to the authorities -knowing he's up for a fine- to complain. I can understand that! - but then:

I find it more hilarious that he wanted it tested for LSD. Everyone knows LSD is extremely unstable and degrades at high room temperatures let alone combustion temperatures, right?

More likely that it was opium (or some such thing), yes, but if he has a complaint why then won't he tell about whom? what's the idea about warning the public about a menace but not being willing to name that menace?
