What can I say, rhyme is my forte.Oh heck, it's like a challenge!Beats me. I'm amazed you were able to rhyme Diogenes.![]()
An ancestor of RJDiogenes
Was a Celtic lass named O'Shaughnessy
She preferred ripe tomatoes
To the common potato
And inspired that love in her progeny.![]()
And among her myriad progeny,
The Great RJDiogenes
(Who rather dislikes cottage cheese)
Enjoys Greek Pizzas in twos and threes
He'll eat them with olives or pepper,
Fiery as his Irishman's temper,
Which will make one quake at the knees!
Fine work there !!!![]()
I've known Heather for years. She attends some local conventions (primarily Ad Astra, if memory serves). I don't think I knew what kind of art she created until now, though.
I guess I really do know everyone...
Dude, awesome. You mean "known" as in "known of," or literally "friends with?"
Mine was created by a friend from Livejournal - he used it as an icon one day and I just loved it. As a gay Canadian, I'm appalled at how some of the rest of the world is still lagging in giving basic equal rights to LGBT people. (Plus, I loves me a man in uniform.)
One of my favourites.![]()
Actually friends with. Well, acquaintances would be more accurate - I don't see her very often, but we know each other well enough to say hi and exchange pleasantries. I'm actually not sure when the last time was that we would have seen each other.
I thought you started out as "cadet" then moved up in "rank" as you posted. If she's a lieutenant, how did she get that far without having enough posts for an avatar pic?I don't understand why you can't. Are you uploading a pic that's too large?I will do as soon as I'm allowed to have one - I do find that very annoying !
no, it's because she hasn't reached the requisite number of posts
This is well on its way to becoming an Epic.Oh heck, it's like a challenge!Beats me. I'm amazed you were able to rhyme Diogenes.![]()

Nope, I've never met the man. Last time I checked, I was two degrees of separation away from him.![]()
Oh, okay, I thought you had to have a lot more posts to advance in rank. I'm thinking of some other board, I guess.I thought you started out as "cadet" then moved up in "rank" as you posted. I love lolcats, I don't care what anyone says about them. Cats themselves are like British comedy. You take a bunch of snooty, proper characters and place them in ridiculous and awkward situations...that contrast is what makes it funny. Same with cats. They act all haughty and sophisticated, but then they do something completely absurd that just cracks you up.I love internet memes and the subculture of the internet in general. My avatar is a condensed form of one of my favorite lolcats "The King of Threads", whose majestic self can be found in his entirety here.
My location "Caturday" refers to the recurring weekly lolcat thread on fark.com, another website I frequent.
It's funny, I love cats but I'm too lazy to own one.Maybe some day.
