The 30th Annual Razzie Awards will be held on March 6, the night before the Oscars. The ceremony was started to celebrate Hollywood's least successful movie ventures.
The Razzie nominees in the major categories are:

I sincerely hope that Transformers wins all of its categories, it does not deserve nothing less :rommie: I also think that Sienna Miller should not be nominated for worst supporting actress, she was one of the best things in GI JOE:alienblush:.

How dare they insult Robert Pattinson? 13-year-old girls are going to storm down on them with all the fury of a jihad upon a Danish newspaper!

Best thing in GI Joe? Isn't that kind of like getting excited about finding a piece of corn in your stool?
 
Land of the Lost should take out Worst Picture, and Will Ferrell should take out Worst Actor.
 
Will Ferrell has this on lockdown. It's a tie between Land of the Lost and All About Steve for me, though. They're equally horrible.
 
G.I. Joe at its worst evoked the fun of its source; Land Of The Lost made me nostalgic for the Uncle Jack stories in Season 3.

Ferrell owns this.
 
Yeah, while I wouldn't call GI Joe a GOOD movie, it was at least better than I was expecting. There were far worse films this year.

this 40+ year old likes him too. he's a better actor than many of you give him credit for. razzies or no razzies.
 
So no Hannah Montana: The Movie for worst picture? I'd put that in place of GI Joe. Joe was a surprise hit that people weren't expecting. Gi Joe is definitely the underdog of 2009. The Razzie awards could be a huge comical take on the Oscars.

Have Seth Green, & Seth McFarlane, do it Robot Chicken style. All the celebrities in stop motion action figure style, but with all their real voices. They could call it: Robot Chicken Presents: The Razzie Awards! Make a 2 hour special, put it on the FOX network, and air it right before the Oscars.
 
Not a single nomination for Avatar? At the very least it deserves punishment for not living up to the insane hype.

And the more razzies for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the better. What a piece of crap that was.
 
Gonna join with those who say that Gi Joe doesn't really deserve to be on this list. While it was not a good movie at all, at least it was fun.
 
Okay, Bullock got the worst actress Razzie. Now, let's see if she can pull off the Best Actress Oscar. It would be quite a distinction.
