Thanks for the votes in the last contest, folks, much appreciated...

This week's contest is "OMG!" - Oh, my god!

Let's see avatars of religious characters (or real life religious folks, if ya prefer) in television & media.

Usual contest rules apply - up to 140x140, 70KB or less if animated.

No scifi entries allowed this week (that would make it too easy).

Entries will be accepted from now 'til Friday night-ish, maybe Saturday.

And this contest was inspired by my watchin' NBC's miniseries Revelations on DVD (only $4 at Big Lots) and my girlfriend's M*A*S*H - The Martinis & Medicine Collection DVDs.

So, now I'm torn...

...do I go with Rene Auberjonois as Father Mulcahy from the movie...

...or do I use William Christopher as Father Mulcahy from the tv series?

I'd go with William Christopher. He's better known in that role.

That's what I'm thinkin', and, ya know, last summer, Rene Auberjonois had nothin' but good things to say about William Christopher when I asked about him turnin' down the role for the series.

I remember that show! Had a couple of crossover episodes with Home Improvement.

Soul Man has an interesting story to it. On one hand, you hear that Aykroyd didn't even want to do it. Then on the other hand, you hear him complaining that ABC intentionally torpedoed the show.
