Hmm, I was expecting this episode to be called "Cuddy," given that the Wilson-centric episode was called "Wilson" (and of course the House-centric series overall is called House).

I honestly didn't think that Cuddy could wear tops that were cut any lower.

And chief of surgery is a real .... sorry, not in my normal vocabulary.

I knew Cuddy would be recording the pharm tech's confession, but I don't think it would hold up. Isn't it illegal to record someone's voice without their knowledge? I don't think that recording would be admissible as evidence.

This episode really lambasted the insurance companies, didn't it? And it's probably no exaggeration.

There seems to be a widely held public perception that recording a conversation is illegal. I don't know how many people I have encountered that thought doing so over the phone or in private was 100% illegal.

Folks, it's legal to record conversations as long as one person there is aware that it is being recorded. There are a few exceptions (many times applied to lawyers not being able to record conversations or other privileged stuff) but as an average American if you want to record every single conversation you have from here on out you are well within your right.

As for the episode it was pretty good. However, the ending was no surprise. I saw that coming from a mile away.

As far as I know recording conversations is legal so long as one of the parties knows it's being recorded. So, since Cuddy was one of the parties...

Pretty good episode, overall. Nice to see Lisa show-cased and carry the episode's plot. She did really well and you can see the kind of crap she has to deal with because of House. ;)

I was too, sort of.

This was a pretty engaging episode with all the stuff Cuddy had to put up with. I even liked how she got her own "ah ha!" moment at the end. Kind of weird seeing an episode of House not start off with a patient in distress though.

Meh, i didn't love this one. It was nice to see what Cuddy does all day other than fight with House. But I wouldn't say I loved this ep. And i am still not feeling the love for Lucas. I just do not get this relationship at all!

Yeah, they just don't seem like a good match for one another. She's a professional, strong, woman. He's a goofbal PI.

This is exactly WHY they are a perfect match. She's always so proper and responsible, she needs to have a little fun in her life. And he's such a goofball, he needs a little direction.

They complete each other.

Seeing Cuddy stick to her guns for an hour, not bending even when she wished she could, helps make up for her pattern of letting House run roughshod over her authority, though it would help more if we saw this side of her more often. I wonder if she indulges House so much because it's the one case where she feels fairly confident she can expect a positive outcome for relaxing the rules.

Still, it can't be fun for her. Just how many people called her a "bitch" in the course of that single day? Four? Although at least the last one was meant as sort of a grudging compliment, I guess.
