You are the Doctor or a Companion

I want to be the companion who crosses the Doctor. The one who comes in with a winning smile and doting admiration of his every word, but quietly works in the background to undermine everything he does for my own agenda. I want the audience to sneer every time I appear in a scene as they scream at their hero, "DON'T TRUST HIM!"
They will cringe, gripping their remotes with white knuckles every time I hold his sonic screwdriver. They'll wail when he leaves me alone in the TARDIS. They'll know I'm up to no good whenever I sneak off by myself. I won't twirl my mustache. I won't chew the scenery (well ... maybe now and then, but just a nibble). I'll be quick with my excuses, and oh so sorry when something goes wrong. But when he nods and turns away, everyone will see my smile grow.
I know. I'm doomed to a horrible fate by such an appetite. But it will be fun while it lasts.

I want to be the companion that goes off exploring on their own and meets the low-tech/religious group while the Doctor gets mixed up with the hi-tech/scientific group. Then, no doubt, I'll need to get rescued just after I've stumbled unknowingly upon the solution to the whole reason their 2 societies have become divided. Also, I'll be wearing really cool clothes.

The Doctor. Thinking back over the span of years, I realize that I've collected companions who have accompanied me on all sorts of adventures. But instead of a blue-box TARDIS, I have a red TARDIS, also known as a 2001 Nissan X-Terra.
if i was a companion, i'd be a UNIT trooper who gets dragged along with him and who has to learn to curb his instinctive need to cap every alien he encounters

If I were the Doctor:
- Play it for two years, with my second year being a year long single story.
- Play it like Troughton
If I were a companion:
- Come from a background where I've lost everything, so am a little headstrong and at times suicidal (in terms of entering dangerous areas).
- Betray the Doctor and become his enemy for my final story (oooooh shocking!)
I would be the quiet, introspective companion who will follow The Doctor hell and back just for the fun of it.
