It's taken years of trying, but the town of Vulcan, Alberta - Canada's official Star Trek capital, apparently - has finally arranged for Leonard Nimoy to pay a visit, which will happen around the time he's scheduled to visit Calgary for a Comic Convention:

I was watching "Meteorite Men" last night, and those boneheads went meteorite hunting in the wheat fields of Alberta and Saskatchewan when it was like zero degrees F, with snow on the ground. I think it was just after the harvest and the first snowfall. So good luck in Vulcan. Nobody will be saying it's "Hot as..."
