Jolene Blalock on "Legend of the Seeker"

EDIT: Just checked... You really can watch LotS on YouTube... And not just LotS, it seems... Doesn't this violate their terms of use?

Not the way it used to. A while back YouTube started pulling any content that copy write holders wanted removed. In some cases they have a deal with companies that pays them advertising revenue. In other cases, the availability of videos on YouTube IS considered free advertising by companies or artists. There is still some areas not totally enforced. A good example is the videos made by people with clips from Star Trek using popular music in the background. Technically both the video and music aspect is considered copy write infringement. So far these have not been targeted by Paramount or by bands whose songs are being used. Maybe both consider these to be amature productions doing no damage to their holdings. The people creating them are not making a profit. As long as YouTube is not making much of a profit from these videos I would expect them to be left alone.

Sometimes users also notify moderators/administrators because they believe they are acting in the best interests of the company, the actors, the writers, etc. I think they err on the side of caution and remove videos.

Yeah, she does look amazing. It looks like she put on a few sorely needed pounds.
Speak for yourself, she looks just fine. :bolian:
Perhaps what you meant to say was that she didn't "sorely" need anything, least of all pounds, to continue to look 'amazing'. If so, I quite agree.
Just to keep the record straight, anyone who knows me, knows that I'm a huge Jolene stalker ... errrrr ... I mean fan ... yeah ... that's it ... fan. Anyway, I think Jolene is amazing looking in general. However, I always thought she was somewhat too thin, particularly in season four. What I was trying to say is that it appears that she put on few pounds since then and it looks good on her (IMO).

That's what I meant by "sorely needed pounds".

Actually, I just want to say that it's probably more accurate to say that every once in a while they do a sweep. I've had both of my ENT videos removed for copyright infringement. I know that all I have to do is re-upload them, but I didn't bother.

Also, a lot of companies are becoming official users of youtube and utilizing it (especially music videos). However, I'm pretty sure that television networks are not quite on the bandwagon yet (since most put video content on their own sites)... But meh... I caught up on episodes for "The Big Bang Theory" on youtube, since CBS didn't put more than clips on their website. Copyright infringement or not, as viewers we are not paying to see it, so it's definitely not the same as pirating dvds. ;)

Youtube has 3 new interviews Jolene did to promote Legend of the Seeker. There's Some new scenes from Dark and in one of the interviews she goes into alot of detail about filming during the rainy season in New Zealand and how difficult it was to shoot an important scene during a torrential rain storm in the middle of a forest. She also talks alot about Sister Nicci and doing reasearch on the character. It's quite interesting all the different things she talks about in these interrviews.

Saw this Saturday night. Ooh, boy, did it hit the fan. Richard's life is going to get very interesting. In a Chinese curse kind of way.

Jolene certainly did a terrific job playing Sister Nicci. I can't wait to see part 2 next Saturday and see what plans Sister Nicci has to stop Richard and what plots she's set in motion. I'd like to see her being brought back to play Sister Nicci again.

I thought she was great! Such a different role than T'Pol. Totally fun to see her in Seeker.

Crud, I for some reason thought this was on Sunday (matter of fact, I am positive I watched this last week, on Sunday) but found out it was on Sunday. I can still catch the second part because the previous episode is on at four with a new episode on at five, but I was looking forward to a two hour block of Jolene episodes.

(sigh)

Fortunately they are rerunning last week's episode before airing this weeks. I don't follow this show at all -- but I love JB!

Jolene's character Sister Nicci wasn't killed off in the magic battle at the end of Perdition .Sister Nicci will be returning in the episodes Princess and Bound.
Jolene did a good job playing Sister Nicci and it would be nice to see her return to play this role again.:techman:

I think it's a possibility for her to become a Bainling (sp?) and come back. Nice to see an Enterprise person in something I watch.

By the way, did you guys notice the producers? Mike Sussman, Andre Bormanis, etc.?! LoTS is lousy with Enterprise people. ;)

:vulcan: I was reading on a Legend of the Seeker bbs that the Sister Nicci role has been recast with another actress. Too bad I enjoyed seeing Jolene portray Sister Nicci.
