My Ship Charts 2.0

I'm wondering about the so-called Enterprise-J that's on there.

We actually saw an E-J, though not too much of it, and this one looks nothing like it.

Should have called it G or H.

Yea I know it's not that great, but I haven't been able to find anything better so I'm just using it as sort of a holding place untill I find a better one.

I've upgraded my Charts with new ships, new pics of old ones and put them on a nifty little grid...

I'm planning on revamping my small ship chart next.

OK, I have looked and looked and I can't spot the Enterprise from this summer's movie. I see the Kelvin, but no Enterprise.

Down Below right under the Kazons.:techman:

And yes I'm still in the camp that thinks the Nu Enterprise is no bigger than the TOS/TMP version.

Oh woah,...no the Kelvin was HUGE...not 300 meters
And I have personally scaled the several scene of the Abramsprise and it's excessively large.

The shuttle scene had it at 925 meters but the ship never scales at anything less than 600 meters.

What's clear...is Abrams didn't really...care...
So why should we.

What's really annoying is that the new movie contains visual evidence that supports both arguments. Inconsistencies like this are part of what makes it Star Trek...

For example, during the first few months of TOS, Star Trek was set in the early 28th Century, in or near the year 2717. It wasn't until Space Seed that they settled on the 23rd Century...

very nice charts!

the gag one up above reminds me of the old paramount map with the E-D superimposed... :)

Deprive me. I may be blind, but I couldn't find a USS Vulture.

Scroll across the top row to the Surya class, and then drop down about twelve rows.

But remember: you asked for it.

Okay. I need a backstory for this ship. It doesn't seem like the most creative design in Trek history.

Okay, this is a complete speculation on my part: Starfleet manages to capture a mostly intact Klingon D-7 cruiser and then retrofit it with engines and a bridge to try and evaluate aspects of the design.

Could you possibly add the USS Resolution (Pathfinder Class). USS Montana (Jupiter Class) And the USS Dreadnaught (Excalibur class). All are findable at Memory Gamma.

I like most of the chart, but there are a lot of really ugly variants, like the E-D with E-E nacelles... That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
No, that honor would belong to the aptly-named USS Vulture. I won't tell you where it is in the chart; the joy of discovering this hideous monster on your own is something I wouldn't want to deprive you of.

What about the Coeur De Lion? That looks like a squid mated with a Miranda Class and some horrible bastard was born.

There are really a lot of ugly designs on this chart. Mind-bogglingly ugly!

I've never heard a reference to the year 2717. Where does that come from?

It looks alot better from other angles. Check Forbin's website he did a kitbash of it.

Oh yeah- I have seen that before... No. I still find it's still super ugly design. . It's a well done bash though, as is all of his stuff.

Very Impressive. That was a TON of work!

I am honored you place one of my designs on it.
Thank you.
