Gibbs is worried about Tony's ability to handle his job when Tony's father turns out to be linked to their newest investigation, an assassination attempt on a foreign prince.

Callen takes on a mission by himself when a parolee is murdered. The team keeps track of him from a distance as Callen resurrects one of his old identities.

Great NCIS. The scene with Gibbs and Tony Sr. was outstanding and reminded me once again why we need another Gibbs centric episode soon because his character is truly the most compelling.

Sorry, Boss. I give this one an average. Totally hated Dad DiNozzo. Really felt sorry for Tony (which is not easy, since I think he's a pain in the butt).

I loved McGee's delighted reaction to Tony's father showing up.
And the resolution of the crime was also pretty neat.

I always appreciate episodes that try to do more with DiNozzo than make him a sad caricature of his original self, so this one gets a thumbs-up from me.

I thought that the last scene between Gibbs and DiNozzo was especially compelling. It is obvious that Gibbs sees more good in DiNozzo than anyone else.

Well Gibbs did say that DiNozzo is the best junior agent he's ever worked with and I don't think Gibbs is one to hand out praise like that to often.

Robert Wagner was an excellent casting choice as Tony's father.

I also loved how Tony and Gibbs both whip out their tactical knives to cut the steak. ;)
