Now This Is Just Freaky....

That is freaky.

On the numbers side of it, there's only nine numbers that would ever be chosen, but how they get the right gift for whichever of those numbers you've picked, I don't know.

It's the same item on each of the 9 numbers that would be chosen for that session. Whenever you take the test again it changes the items on those numbers to try and disguise that they are the same. The nine numbers are 9, 18, 27, 36, ,45, 54,63,72, and 81. The items on those numbers will always be the same.

this = fail :rommie:

I chose 87 for the two digit number. According to the formula: 87 - 8 - 7 = 65 the program's woman should have guessed an "educational book", she guesses "box of tea"
take two, should be "bread maker", she guesses "oven mitt"
take three, "scented candle", she guesses "board game"

Um, no, 87 - 7 - 8 = 72.

The key is that you're always subtracting off the ones digit, so effectively if X is the tens digit, then the number you end up with is 9*X. That's why all the possible answers are multiples of 9.

If the program didn't guess your number, you did the math wrong. It's as simple as that.

Yeah I did the math wrong the first time...it guessed it just now.

:lol:
