I'm up through Part 5, and I want to echo the others who appreciate the crew you've staffed this latest Enterprise with. Though we've barely got to know them yet, I'm eagerly anticipating watching them grow together as a team and working their way through their first crisis.

I've got a feeling it won't take to long for them to find it, with the mysterious slipstream ship en route.

Islington handled that question deftly, though the answers clearly raises more questions for the reader than it answers.

And now a high-gravity rescue in the atmosphere of a gas giant… it doesn’t get any more hairy than that. Icheb’s not helping matters any, though, by getting personally involved. Now Huronia has to worry about an admiral potentially dying on her watch (while commanding a ship full of press/media types, no less) in addition to all the other stress such a scenario would usually generate.

This… is going to be a wild ride.

Exactly my intention - there's a lot of stuff we don't know about the incident in question that will slowly be revealed.

And it's not even got as stressfull as it's going to get Writing is afoot on the next batch of installments, stocking up on them before I put them out - there is one flashback installment which will tie a few comments so far together - and then there's the reveal about the slipstream yacht, the pilot and what he was running away from and where he was running from.

And we've still to meet three members of our main cast!
