Rare Photos for January 2010!

Remember folks, it's twenty-ten! No more "two-thousand" nonsense! :)

That said, on with the show! Well there is no show, it's just some pictures... but you know what I meant!

My Favorites:
Page 1

2nd Row, Center: Harve Bennett poses with the cast of Star Trek V, while Jimmy Doohan picks some lint off of De Kelley's shoulder, unaware of the photo being taken.

5th Row, Center: Worf, Picard and Hawk filming the space-walk scene of First Contact against a blue-screen.

6th Row, Center: TWOK Silliness, as De Kelley 'stabs' Bill Shatner during some down-time and a birthday party (I think it was De's) as Kirstie Alley and Merritt Buttrick watch on.

2nd Row, Right: NuKirk in Gold. So few pictures of him in the appropriate attire, they're all worth mentioning.

4th Row, Left: Super High Quality photo of the late Mark Lenard as Sarek from ST4

5th Row, Left: Patrick Stewart and Jennifer Hetrick have a case of the giggles filming "Captain's Holiday" :)

Which Ones Are Your Favorites?

Happy New Year! Some great pictures there! My favourite from this collection is Nichelle on her bike. She looks so young and carefree.

Awesome!! Thanks as usual. =)

I like the one of Ms. Nichols on her bicycle, she looks really happy. Also the person holding the large foam rock, and the one with the little boy, Mr. Takei and Mr. Nimoy. And the makeup shot of Rom.

Happy new year!

Are we sure that's Nichelle's bicycle? Are we sure Shatner didn't put her up to taking off with Nimoy's?

Happy New Year 2010!!! Great Photos has always, I really enjoy you posting these rare photos of Star Trek every month, this was a great way to start out the New Year, thanks....:techman::) I really like the bike picture of Nichelle as well ~~~ Really Great, I guess she was to getting something to eat on the Paramount Lot or something.:shifty:

Great pix as always!! Uhura riding the bike is my favorite. De's birthday party was fun, too. I think I saw that one before in The Making of Star Trek II book.

Once again, Frontier, you have outdone yourself! I agree the Pine in gold shots are rare. I also loved the TOS cast on the transporter pad shot.

I'm always surprised by the ones that get mentioned, and likewise, the ones that don't. :)

The 7 of 9/Xeno one, or the one of a young Phil Morris during his scene in TSFS, for example.

I'm sure it will surprise no one on this board that this one was my favorite. I loved it. :luvlove: Thank you so much for posting these!

Warmest Wishes,
Whoa Nellie

I've seen the Seven/Xena one before, or one very close to it, and did notice the Phil Morris picture. The one from this set which caught my attention, though, was the Ricardo Montalban pic, apparently a test shot or taken outside the soundstage between takes. Do you know what the story is on that one?

Happy New Year to all!

And those photos are fun! I enjoyed the one of Captain Picard and Guinan, the spinal Borg Queen (using the blue blanket to later dub the rest of her body away with a blue screen- a great behind-the-scenes shot), and of course Nichelle on the bicycle.

Thanks, and once again, Happy New Year!

I believe it was originally taken to be a "historical" photo. A photo of Kahn from 1996, or such. Either that, or a publicity photo.

You're right -- a "historical" photo it is. I'd forgotten about this bit.

The one with Connor Trinneer fixing his hair while standing next to the damaged shuttle has always been my favorite for captions.

"Capt'n, I'll fix the shuttle just as soon as I finish with my hair."

Wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year...sorry for such a late greeting..
AA...

Pictures were really awesome and I liked the bike one.
Actually i m lucky to be here with you people and
