I got an Art Asylum WOK Enterprise for Christmas!

Needed paint on the deflector (blue, not black), and red light signals painted over the shuttle bay, but MAN is it beautiful!!!
It lights up okay, and the audible quotes & sounds are nice enough, but it absolutely ROCKS as a precision model!!!!

Also had to hot-glue the display pylon to the base (waaaay too loose), and touch up the lights & trim around the deflector dish. The light-up feature is lame compared to the Playmates NuE toy (that's really the best feature of it IMO), but like I said, it's the 'model' factor that I wanted it for.

My obsession is complete.

No, actually it's re-cast in shiny off-white plastic, more resembling the ship as lit in TMP. Plus WOK sound effects.

At $45, it's not bad at all! The only better one I could find is the 1/350 scale Polar Lights model, but that takes a LOT of work, and at over three feet long, I don't know where I'd put it.
The Art Asylum one is 16", just big enough for crazy detail, but not too big to play wi- errr, I mean, examine.

I have one too did you see or notice any finger prints or partial ones on the paint job anywhere or a space between the nacelle and the pylon below it? im hoping mine isnt some reject one that slipped thru the cracks...

No finger prints, but space between the pylon & the nacelle- definitely! I found it was caused by a mis-shapened pin in the nacelle interior. The pins are on springs to allow for connection & disconnection. ONE pin in one nacelle was off, and caused an uneven joining, hence the space. I pushed it with an exacto knife until it rotated slightly, with the messed-up side facing away from me, then slid the nacelle coupling in at an angle so that it would more easily align with the little hole.
I had to remove the nacelles to paint the missing little white parts in front, and had to repeat this 'joining' procedure again, and it worked well.

It takes a little time & patience, plus a flashlight to see inside the nacelle to where the pins are. No forcing should be required, though.

Ooops. Found another spot that needs painting: the circle of tiny blue lights just around the deflector dish, they're THERE, just same colour as the hull.
Done.

I have one of these, its a shame the light shines through all of the plastic, so the whole nacelle lights up!! haha, may have to try to take it apart to paint the inside black
