I know there is already a TEOT thread, but I made this for the US fans who will be watching it for the first time tonight on BBC America so that we can discuss it live without worrying about reading too many spoilers in the other thread.

It starts at 9 pm EST (GMT-5) on BBC America.

(If any mod thinks that this thread is unnecessary just merge it.)

Well polling threads are normally separate from the discussion ones. At least that is how it always was in the Stargate forum.

For some damn reason Charter (where we are forced to get the cable because they have a monopoly!) got rid of BBC America!

I wish they wouldn't show previews for part 2 until after part 1 is over..... Its pretty obvious who those guys where by their headdresses.

I've been reading through the Brit thread, and I'm seeing much of what people love/dislike in this so far. I can't really give a complete assessment until the end of part two... but I do have impressions.

The conversation between Wilf & the Doctor in the pub was pure gold. Especially with Tennant's emotional wrenching reactions.

These super powers of the Master's are odd.... but then there's bound to be an explanation soon.

It mends whole planets........ I think I know what planet the Master will use it on.

Everybody seems to know everything. The "cult of Saxon" attempting the resurrection, Naismith knowing about it and nabbing him.

A little confusing right now.

Oh thats just weak. At least the proper BBC put the preview at the very end of the credits w/ a voiceover warning that it was coming.

Is it just me, or is Davies pulling out all the stops for his cliffhanger ending? Between the Master Race, the return of the Time Lords and Donna Noble going bonkers, I'm not sure what else he could have packed in there. Still, the ending did sort of drag a bit. I was concerned people who got tired of seeing the Master laugh all over Earth would have changed channels and missed the Gallifrey moment...
