The Book of Eli-Denzel Washington

So many end-of-the-world movies. First 2012, then The Road, and now this... Admittedly it looks interesting. Western meets post-apocalyptic dystopia. Mila Kunis is kind of out-of-place casting in this, though. Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman... that chick from That 70's Show? Uhmm, okay.

Hairless cats...creepy.

If they just fired lasers...then I'd see the movie.

Look for BOOK OF ELIN jokes if Tiger Woods is still making news.

Wow it's been forever since the Hughes brothers last film in From Hell, looking forward to seeing what this is like.

Hey, you gotta break out somehow.

Her film work has been picking up a little over the last year or two, and I've always been a fan of hers, so I don't have a problem with her being in the movie. I think it could work.

My first thought when I saw the trailer was "So...it's Mad Max...with a black dude?" but subsequent viewings of the trailer (and I think I saw a different one recently, too) reveals the film as what may well be the best of the apocalypse movies slated to come out.

I can certainly get on board for anything the Hughes Brothers want to do. Washington and Oldman are looking pretty badass as well.

She was in Max Payne so she has a bit of action movie experience.

This one is certainly more like the former than the latter.

Really? I'd have said it would be more like The Road than 2012.

I'll be seeing this when it comes out.

Well, they gave Mila shades so she's cool. And Jennifer Beals is in it, too, so how bad can it be?:shifty:

^^

The Hughes Brothers are pretty talented....

Their films are pretty brutal (Dead Presidents being one of them) but they know how to tell a good story and get good performances out of their actors....

Btw, my favorite films from them are Dead Presidents, and From Hell....although, From Hell kinda had me upset that the bad guys sort of win....
