Holiday Greetings from TrekBBS! (.mp3)

That was awesome, Flukie -- great job! :bolian:

Alas, I have no recording equipment (plus I'm rather technologically-challenged), so I couldn't contribute. Maybe next year...

I still can't get used to hearing my own voice on tape, though. The rest of you guys sound great! ;)

No need to worry, my dear, you sounded lovely -- really, you have a very sweet-sounding voice. And kudos on the language skills.

The only one who I knew it was right away without hearing her name was TSQ.
J.

The only one? Funny... when T'Bonz's segment started, I knew right away who it was. :D

And J., you have a great voice... you oughtta' be in radio!

That was wonderful! Everyone sounds terrific, and Flukie, nice touches to a great piece of music. Oh, and agreed about ZR. The only one who I knew it was right away without hearing her name was TSQ. For some reason, she sounds exactly how she looks, which is very adorable. :DJ.

Yeah, even if I didn't associate her with that voice she seems like someone who would choose to read the Grinch story.

That was really fabulous! Well done, Flukie. :) Because I couldn't get to make an audio greeting, here is a little something else from me to everyone here. Hope it's okay to post it here, it seemed an appropriate place.

What a great job by everyone. By the way, did anyone else know RJ has an accent? I always imagined something grapey, but I was quite surprised! :D

RJD, what is your accent?
What the hell are you guys talking about? People from Boston don't have an accent. All those other types have accents. ;)

That was great, everybody. I loved hearing your voices. Some of you really should be in radio. I'm Sirius.

Great work, Flukie. Especially the second draft.

Happy Holidays! :)

Great stuff everyone!

Astrosmurf sounded actually exactly like I imagined! CrusherBunny's voice was not like I imagined, but I was pleasantly surprised! Elim sounds like such an Aussie, but nothing bad with that! RJ you have a great radio voice! And trekkiedane with the deep voice! Great choice of text tsq :D Zion was not like I imagined, but cool voice and accent still! And above all master of ceremonies so to say, Flukie himself! :D

Everyone was awesome though and great fun to hear everyone! Great idea Flukie and this is something we should keep on doing every year. I'll try to be quicker in my message next year :o
*sigh* And Emher's is wonderful too.
Ah you charmer you :o I always think I sound like crap, and with this I sounded really unprepared when I was trying to sound relaxed
As for ZR, I thought he sounded like Dr. Bashir, from DS9.
Actually one of the things that popped into my mind as well.

^I was very close to correct with yours, RJ. Only off by the last vowel sound.

ETA: Having listened to the whole thing, that was great! Some sexy accents on this board, apparently. :p I feel bad for being too lazy to send anything in myself, now.

Loved Emher's accent. Very nice. :D

Great job, Flukie. The trek sound effects were so cool.

Everybody sounded different from how I expected, except, TSQ.

RJ you have a great radio voice!
Thank you. :D I got a kick out of how you don't know how to pronounce your name-- nobody is ever quite sure about mine, either. :rommie:
Yeah I think used the same joke in an Admirals message thing way back, but it still stands
Loved Emher's accent. Very nice. :D.

I agree...it's to  for, isn't it? very sexy, Emher!

Thanks :o I hate my English accent though because I always think too much of the Swedish intonations slip in.

Thanks folks, I had a great time putting it all together. I forgot to do my own until the very last minute though. :alienblush: :D

My favorite part is the tribbles cooing while tsq is reading while the red alert klaxon goes off to announce the arrival of T'Bonz. :D

Oh, THAT'S what the Red Alert was for--I totally missed that!

(I know why I didn't get a red alert, though...the old Enterprise wouldn't automatically recognize a Cardassian ship. ;) )
