Apparently they've commissioned Patrick Stewart's Macbeth for next year.Just seen an advert for Hamlet on BBC 2 on Boxing Day over here in the UK. It looks awesome, I have to say!

Sounds like it's already been filmed for some time in Spring next year.Apparently they've commissioned Patrick Stewart's Macbeth for next year.Just seen an advert for Hamlet on BBC 2 on Boxing Day over here in the UK. It looks awesome, I have to say!
This is probably the best news I've had all year. I've seen both of these productions on stage and the Macbeth is simply the best thing I've seen in the theatre.
Do the hosts usually f and blind? I expect Frankie Boyle did, but I can't say I've noticed much strong swearing on there. Mostly just insults. But that may just be down to the fact I swear a lot and have come to expect it on the show...Because I'm an old lady and notice these things, one of the things that impressed me about Tennant on Buzzcocks is that he managed to get out of there without the host's usual f-ing and blinding.
I only seem to remember occasional swearing, but as I said it may be because I've come to expect it and it makes no impact any more.Didn't Simon Amstell used to swear?Maybe I'm putting words in their mouths?

No more or less swearing than the other quizcoms, but given the big Doctor Who presence this week they may have been told to cut it out completely in case lots of younger DW fans watched (not massively likely admittedly).
There's a special spoof episode of Buzzcocks very late on Christmas Day, something like midnight I think on BBC2. It interviews the guest hosts and investigates how hosting Buzzcocks has changed their lives.![]()
