Victor's contract is up?! I'd wager originally this would go another way. Although maybe not. The plan could've been to release a doll every season. November in S1, Victor in S2 and so forth. Now though this is more timely knowing we only have 3 episodes to go.

Check back later for comments from our 'active' participants!

This was A+ Joss Whedon material. Might've known that Dollhouse would be "at it's best" now that it's almost over. :(

From what I understand, it's supposed to be the nights of January 8th, 15th and the 22nd, which would mean the remaining episodes would begin precisely one night after the college football postseason has come to a close.

This is correct from the last known dates, the series will resume in January. As for tonight's episodes, I thought they were fantastic, an love the mini arcs they made and looking forward to the rest. I wish they were a little more clear on the dates of things (I'm trying to work on something for the Dollhouse Wiki), but overall it's good. Also about time we got the name of Victor's original personality.

For me, "The Attic" felt way too much like a a ripoff of Buffy's "Restless". Hell, I kept waiting for the cheese man to show up somewhere after a while.

Yeah, definitely A+ material. I thought that the first ten minutes of Stop Loss were particularly great, with Adelle's final tryst with Viktor and then Viktor being set free from the DH and not knowing what to do. Adelle was definitely rocking the Darth Vader vibe during her entrence into the last scene.

Loved the look inside the attic and the return of Mr. Dominec. Really wish we'd have more episodes to explore this war on Rossum.

Well, I liked 'Stop Loss', but fell asleep durin' 'The Attic'. I'll have to watch it online later.

Speaking of Darth Vader, loved Topher's joke to his assistant (still can't remember her name) that Vader only killed lieutenants and not stormtroopers.

Amazing episode.

I wonder what they took from Paul so that they could save him. A part of me thinks that it was his love for Echo. Especially given that Joss Whedon is apparently allergic to allowing characters to have some level of happiness.

Topher's assistant (or gofer' as he treats her) is named Ivy.

Christmas Jewel (love the name, btw), I agree with your post, especially considering a semi related moment in "The Attic" with Echo.

Yep. "The Attic" was way too derivative of several other TV series and movies, which handled the same concepts much better. Not only did it pale in comparison as a 'dream' episode to "Restless", it was also at times an inferior rip-off of "The Cell" and the whole concept of the Borg from TNG.

I've been a strong supporter of "Dollhouse" since "Man on the Street". From that episode to episode 12 of season 1 was an amazing run, but the show has been pretty inconsistent since. I think now is when I finally jump off the bandwagon. I'll watch the remaining episodes, but I'm no longer very sad about the show getting axed. It's getting way too bogged down in convoluted plot machinations instead of giving us more of the great character stuff that made me a fan of the show in the first place.

I am just glad the DeWitt character has been redeemed.

Re: Dollhouse: ep 2x9/2x10-Stop Loss&The Attic Grading,Comments SPOIL

It's a real shame the show wasn't this interested in the first season. It's a pretty good show now and I really did not care for S1. They should have had Echo as she is since the pilot, a self aware character who can access all the imprints at will.

Who else thinks that the "future" scenes that we saw in Epitaph One were taking place in the attic, as seen in last night's ep, and that it' not REALLY the future?:vulcan:

Re: Dollhouse: ep 2x9/2x10-Stop Loss&The Attic Grading,Comments SPOIL

Awesome. I'm seriously loving the show, of course, because every show I love gets cancelled.

I didn't realize the whole "Restless" vibe, but you guys are right about the similarities, and that Restless was much better.

But the first ep tonight was riveting.
Gott wonder, though, why they woke Tria up as herself, when a little bit of Ninja girl ability would have been DAMN handy in that situation. Unless it was to give Tony/Victor someone he had to protect, thus helping to bring him around.

"2010, I think, we don't know how long we've been off the air."
Naughty...

I didn't quite understand how Clyde was able to become Arcane but still it was pretty good.

I guess our team is assembled now, the next episodes should be interesting.
