Casting ideas?
I searched the forums and couldn't find a thread like this, so I decided to make my own.
Who do you think should be cast as possible future characters? (And what characters do you want to see?) Mine are the following:
Kristen Bell as Janice Rand
Nurse Chapel - I don't know who should play her, I know alot of people want Kristen Bell to play her
Sarah Doohan (James Doohan's 9 year old daughter) as Joanna McCoy (Bones' daughter who was supposed to be in the fourth season of the series, but it didn't happen).

For M'Benga--Denzel Washington. What ya think?
BTW...JJ and Co. did say they were using ther novels for reference...so, as per Enterprise: The First Adventure, Rand would be in her twenties as per TOS.
Which would make her a teen in the time period of the movie.
I must admit, I haven't seen that much of Kristen Bell (I know--I'm DEPRIVED!!!), but she'd look the part, I'd think....

Denzel's a bit old for the part, isn't he? M'Benga would probably be in his early twenties during Trek XII, if he were to appear in it.

If you want Denzel in the film, how about this: Tuvok's father.

And before anyone asks: Tuvok was not born on Vulcan itself, he was born on the Vulcanis Lunar Colony - which could be anywhere. So there's no reason to assume that Tuvok's family was wiped out when Vulcan was destroyed. They probably survived.

Bah! M'Benga should have been in Trek XI. He did his internship on Vulcan. Where was Medical Intern M'Benga during the Vulcan scenes?
