Fox News: 120% Of The Public Thinks Scientists May Falsify GW Data

From your own quote...
However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast.
“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said. “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.”
Mr Gore’s office later admitted that the 75 per cent figure was one used by Dr Maslowksi as a “ballpark figure” several years ago in a conversation with Mr Gore.

THAT'S how Gore got the figure. Maslowksi gave it to him.

Just because you don't like one politician doesn't negate the vast amount of scientific evidence that's piling up.

And it's not a religion. If anything people denying climate change is more of a religion because they still deny it even though there's a mountain of scientific evidence backing it up.

You know, just like religion.

Which is the problem. When not putting up layman's opinions, you guys are putting up scientists and professionals from unrelated or minimally related fields while completely dismissing all of the people who actually live and breath climate science on a daily basis.

That's only logical. Obviously every single person who has actually studied the climate of our planet is in on the conspiracy, so only people who have no fucking idea what they are talking about can be considered of speaking the truth about this.

I've said it many times before and I'll keep saying it -- AlGore is a damned liar, a fearmonger, and an opportunist trying to bully people with his "green" initiatives.

And once again, why are you so fixated on Al Gore? He's a politician, not a scientist. Why are you so intent on actually ignoring the science? You haven't even replied directly to anything anyone has said to you in this thread, you just keep talking about Al Gore. You don't like Gore, we get it. Plenty of people who are not climate change deniers don't like Gore too. If you'd stop setting up and attacking your straw man, you might actually learn a few things about climate change. But of course, that's up to you.

I am in no way for pollution of any type and believe in conscious environmental care; however, I the Global Climate Change crowd are no different than any other nutty religious following.

Considering your fixation on certain people who have nothing to do with the science, I don't think you're in any sort of position to try and make any sort of objective claims on the issue.

Hey, I believe in green! One of my clients from the UK was looking for a "green certification" for one of their commercial products. I invented one for them. Now their commercial line bears the green logo and seal of approval! Who's seal and who's approval? Theirs.

Just trying to do my part.... :)

Way to mislead, lie, and defraud. I guess it's moral if you agree with it.

So homosexuality is destroying the moral fiber of society, but you cheating paying clients is acceptable?

It's what Jesus would do.

You're the reason why people look down on Christians.

You purposely lied to a client and boasting about it.

Your "flexible" morality and ethics are quite disturbing - as is your pride in displaying them.

Um, no one is lying to any clients. It's a simple marketing tool. Developing a green seal program for a company is not unusual in anyway whatsoever. Anyone who asks what the certification means is told that the products conform to EPA standards and the seal ensures this. They are also told that the program is a company one.

As far as your first point, I couldn't care less.

Why is it immoral to develop a marketing program that ensures quality environmental standards? You bet I'm happy about it.

Your 'marketing program' does nothing to ensure quality environmental standards. Your program ensures that your client meets whatever standards it decides to set. No different from a perpetually unrepentant sinner who declares themselves Christian. Their standards (i.e. morals) are flexible.

You would be mistaken. The clients standards meet or exceed FDA and EPA standards. Whether it's their seal or someone else's is immaterial. In fact, the most prevalent green certification organization in the USA is a private company so there's absolutely no difference.

The second part of your statement is just plain silly of course. Christians may sin but they have a set moral standard given to them by God. Other folks....who knows?

The clients' standards are whatever they say they are. When they make the rules, they can choose the standards.

Many self professed Christians do not follow Christ's moral standard. They are often judgmental bigots. Proud, judgmental bigots with flexible morality. They bring shame to God's name.

Correct on the first part. But the customers of the client KNOW what the standards the client sets are. The only difference now is a fancy green seal. How is that in any way a problem?

On your second point, ALL people fail at one point or another to live up to God's standard. Every single one. The difference is that Christians at least have that set standard, so they know when it's not lived up to.

If the customers know what the standards are, then there is no purpose to having the seal. Therefore the seal is there to impress those that do NOT know the standards, and do not know that the company itself sets that standard. It's deceit.

No, the difference is that Christians should not be proud of their failure - hence the perpetual, unrepentant hypocrisy.
