This year's first snow....

SF Bay Area had snow this morning. Snow level was around 500ft when I was driving to work this morning. Very, very rare....

Not so much as a flake yet in my neck of the woods :/

The land of John Adams? No snow?

That's f***ed up, man. :(
Mmmm. I once called it "Land of Kennedy" due to the whole Lincoln-Kennedy comparsion thing.

We got snow here in DC this past weekend. There seem to be more snow around my fiancee's condo than on campus (about six miles apart).

Here in Brockville (Ontario, Canada) we got us a bit of snow today, enough to cover most things but the main streets, including the trees in the countryside which looks gorgeous. But it's not enough to be a hindrance or an inconvenience. And the week's forecast has us having a little bit every day for the next few days and the temperature will be hovering around 0 Celsius or just below so just cool enough to let the snow stick for awhile.

It's snowing prettily heavily right now in Hamburg, NY, and looking at Facebook, most of my friends believe that if it snows hard enough, we will have a snowday tomorrow. Unlikely, because the only thing that consistently gives us snow days is 2-3 feet of snow, and -15 to -20 wind-chills.:scream:

There's the snow I've been hearing all about!

Ugh, not looking forward to dealing with retarded drivers on the way to work today.

Wells Fargo in a Blizzard

I'm in Des Moines, we're expecting 14 inches of snow by tomorrow night, my buddy who works at WElls called me at lunch, their boss has closed all the blinds in the office so people can't see the snow and stop asking to leave early today.

WOW.

there hasn't really been any snow here yet . . . usually we have a couple inches on the ground by this time of year

I live in Syracuse which might as well be called Snowracuse :D

Yeah, I think Syracuse beat Buffalo for total snow fall last year. I think you guys got 100 inches or so, while we were still in the mid nineties.

Our first snow fall was last week. Got about 2 inches, and it was gone by the afternoon. I'd like to get some snow soon. Although it makes it harder to go outside for some target practice, and it's a bitch to clear off the driveway, it does mak for awfully romantic walks...nothing like walking in a light snowfall...:adore:

Syracuse holds the title of the snowiest metro area in the US
that's not to say we get the most snow, but still . . . we know snow :D

I have a friend that moved up here from Florida and I can't wait to hear her reaction to what a 'real' winter is like :D

the kid's movie Snow Day was set in Syracuse, but wasn't filmed here because there wasn't enough snow at the time
it would have been great if they actually filmed here :D

Re: Wells Fargo in a Blizzard

Dubuque, Iowa, here. Can't wait.
