Is it bad that I automatically started assigning the names of possible candidates to replace Lemont in the strip?
That, and replace the words "Superman Returns" with "Star Trek XI," "Star Trek '09," "Star Trek 2009," "JJTrek" and/or "nuTrek" as appropriate?

Too obscure. The vast, overwhelming majority of fandom doesn't know that Janeway is dead.

Damn, that's awesome, although this isn't the first time he's mentioned dear ol' TrekBBS in his strip. I missed that particular strip because I forgot to pick up a newspaper that day while I was visiting Yokohama.
When did the other Trek reference happen? Comics.com has a search feature, so you might be able to find if you know when it came out.
