Woo-hoo! New washer and dryer!

I love the Christmas season. I've been saving my devaluing penny's and just got my wife a new whirlpool washer and dryer. We had been using used crap for years but I decided no longer. She was so happy she almost cried. I do enjoy giving. I had no idea a washer and dryer could be so quiet, I barely know they are in use. All in all it's been a good year. Sorry, I feel so good I had to brag.

That's sweet, TJ! Having a good washer and dryer can make life a lot easier! Ours are so loud and everything has to go through two dryer cycles to get completely dry.

I hated always needing quarters. Having one's own washer/dryer is just great. Seems minor, but it's just great.

At least in my current apartment the laundry room is just downstairs. In my last apartment I had to go outside to get to the laundry room on the other side of the building!

Actually, now that I'm a lot closer to home, I've been taking random loads of laundry over to my parent's house.

I got a new washer/dryer setup last year. I do enjoy it.

I was particularly insistent that the washer be a TOP LOADING model. I did this because front loading washing machines tend to get infested with mold. Linky
