Self Medication
Dr. Venture's therapy group, a collection of former Boy Adventurers (who have become failed adults), quickly fall back into their old habits when a mystery is literally dropped into their session. Meanwhile, Sgt. Hatred tries to overcome his own past when he's stuck in a movie theater crammed with kids. History is doomed to keep repeating itself if Hatred and Dr. Venture can't break their cycles.

I liked last night's episode. Both the A and B plots were very funny, the Rusty/therapy jaunt especially. "Action" Johnny is always a pleasure.

Rated it "Below Average". Boring, covered no new ground, and the Sgt. Hatred boy/pedophile thing didn't end. Such a promising beginning to the season, but such a weak passed couple episodes.

I liked the A-Plot with the Boy Adventurers.

The B-Plot was very weak. Not so much with the pedo-humor, but the fact that it didn't go anywhere.

I do like the idea that the monarch henchmen and the brothers are actual friends when not henching.

I voted average....the Hatred stuff is getting old but the A storyline was ok and surprisingly Rusty came off looking pretty good in comparison.

It's funny when he first appeared he was clearly referred to as Johnny Quest..but now their calling him Action Johnny..guess the higher ups at Cartoon Network/Adult Swim told them to stop using his real name.

I think they have always referred to him as either "Johnny" or "Mr. Quest", but never as "Johnny Quest".

I enjoyed this episode for the boy adventurers, but even I'm sick of the Hatred pedophile stuff now. Enough already! Even Family Guy only uses Herbert for a single gag every few episodes. So for the season overall so far I'd say disappointing and rudder-less, but there's been some good episodes within (Captain Sunshine, the Orb).

I finally watched it last night...eh, it was OK, but nothing spectacular. I was a bit underwhelmed with the boy adventurers. To me, they kind of wasted that idea...it just felt like there should have been more to it, I guess. I didn't mind the Hatred stuff quite as bad this go around, but I do sincerely hope they are going to come to some kind of resolution with it.

The best part was the bit with 21 and the Monarch after the credits...

I'm not sure how I missed this series, but a friend of mine turned me on to it about a month ago. I've recently plowed through all the episodes to catch up. While season 4 may not be as good as the previous three, it's not nearly as bad as people are making it out. They're overusing the pedo humor about as much as they've overused the gimmicks on all of the characters. Seems to be more a perception issue than an execution one.

Anyway, the one line that made me literally laugh out loud was Johnny's "herpe" bit. It was just so, so, so bad.
